OK so normally I post a cover image that I stole from Goodreads. But this week the store manager made me a deal I couldn’t refuse. Even though I already own this trilogy in a paperback, I have always dreamed of owning the hardcovers (in a box set because I love box sets). Every time I went into the shop I’d stop and stare and try to justify spending $60 on books I already own. But the store manager saw me gazing at it, and he made me an offer. He’s had the set in his store for a year without selling it. He slashed $15 off and before I know it, I’m the proud new owner of The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy in hardcover – and it’s the version with the coloured ink! So in honour of this week’s purchase I actually took a picture.

I want to re-read it straight away. I’m donating my paperbacks to my local library.
