Top Ten Books I Want to Re-Read

Before I Fall

1. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
I had such feels for this book the first time I read it. I want to experience that again.

chemicalgardentrilogy

2. The Chemical Gardens trilogy by Lauren DeStefano
It is truly the hand of a master storyteller to make me cry over a character I don’t even like… twice! I want to relive that.

graceling realm trilogy

3. Graceling Realm trilogy by Kristen Cashore
With Fire being one of my favourite fantasy books ever, and Graceling being optioned for a film (OMG I’M SO EXCITED) I’d really like to re-read these books. I read Bitterblue for the first time a few months ago and it reminded me why I love these books so much.

4. Vampire Academy graphic novels by Richelle Mead and Emma Vieceli
The third one is due out sometime soon (I think) and because they’re a quick easy read I’d like to go over the first two again.

Adorkable

5. Adorkable by Sarra Manning
The audiobook narrators gave me such feels for this book. I want to read it to see if that translates to the page as well, or if I should just keep telling everyone to listen to it LOL.

old kingdom trilogy

6. The Old Kingdom trilogy by Garth Nix
I need to review some good Aussie fantasy on this blog, and this is of course my first choice.

the-silver-brumby-centenary-edition

7. The Silver Brumby series by Elyne Mitchell
I need some serious childhood regression with the beautiful omnibus I own. I desperately want the second one. Sentimentality for the win!

Bridget Jones's Diary (Bridget Jones, #1)

8. Bridget Jones’ Diary series by Helen Fielding
I had a hankering to watch the film a few weeks ago, and I remember how funny the book was. I want to read the rest of the books in the series as well (well, the sequel and the new one coming out).

Girl with a Pearl Earring

9. Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
I adored the film, although the ending was pretty lacklustre. I remember liking the book as lot as well. I want to re-read it to see if I still like it after all this time.

Divergent (Divergent, #1)

10. Divergent by Veronica Roth
I am still yet to read Insurgent, and with the newest book Allegiant due out this year I need to get my skates on… but I hear Insurgent doesn’t recap so I probably need to read the first one again.

I still need to read Divergent for the first time! Also, I want to read Fire. I didn’t love Graceling – it was very good but not a favorite – but have heard that some folks who didn’t love Graceling loved Fire, so I want to see if I fall into that category or not. I also really want to read Wither. There are just SO many books out there!

My TTT will go up in a couple of hours, if you’d like to check out my topic. I did my Top Ten Favorite Book Quotes. 🙂

I didn’t love Graceling but I LOVED Fire and Bitterblue, so I want to re-read Graceling and see if I was being too harsh on it.

Great list! I’d love to re-read the Abhorsen trilogy from first to last book (I think there was a gap between the time I read the first book and the last two). And Bridget Jones’ Diary is always a fun book to re-read 🙂

There is about a ten year gap between the first Abhorsen book and the next two, so that’s OK. I want to read Bridget Jones so badly I watched the films the other night ha ha.

If you didn’t like Wither that’s OK, everyone’s taste in books is different. You should give Divergent a shot!
