Day 15: Your Favourite Male Character

My favourite male character is Brigan from Kristen Cashore’s Fire Book #2 in the Graceling Realms trilogy.

I like Brigan the best because he’s not your typical good-looking arrogant jerk. He’s a hard worker and loyal, and loves his family. His relationship with Fire is incredibly slow-burning and starts off with him hating her, which I kind of adore, because it’s like a reverse Beauty and the Beast, where Fire is so beautiful she’s used to everyone falling in love with her. But Brigan sees past her beauty, which I love.
