Page to Screen is a new original feature I’m experimenting with where I talk about film adaptation of YA books.

I think Divergent was one of the best adaptations of a YA book I’ve seen. Different in a way from The Hunger Games, which it is very similar to.

 I really liked Shailene Woodley’s performance, so seeing her be heroic in the new Insurgent teaser trailer gives me all kinds of feels.

I adored the book. I don’t remember this part happening in the book – is it an annoying special-effect-laden dream or another fearscape they’ve added to the film? Or perhaps I’m just not remembering the book all that well. But just look at Tris being all fearless!

Is anyone else excited for this film?
