Oh wow! You look like you love adventure/fantasy/dystopian/contemporary type books! 😀 They all look great and I want to read them ALL!!!! Great list Nemo!!!

Yep, I tend to gravitate towards low and high fantasy, light sci-fi/dystopia, paranormal and contemporary with magical realism. Although I am pretty keen on historical YA as well.

I spent all afternoon yesterday hunting through Goodreads for books published in the last 3-5 years that I’d put on my favourites list. Now I find out it’s books READ in the last 3 to 5 years which would have been a LOT easier! RARG! I could just bite someone…still, my list is still pretty good!

I think this weeks’ question was pretty flexible. I think it was and/or.

Great list! Wither and Catching Fire are such awesome books from even greater series. I really need to check out Before I Fall and Entwined. I actually have had the both of them on my shelf for so long but I haven’t read them!

Before I Fall was actually my favourite book before I read Entwined so I really hope you like them as much as I did.

Poison Study and Touch of Power also made my list! Maria V Snyder is one of my favourite fantasy writers; I just love all of her books! Catching Fire was by far my favourite of the series and I really need to continue on with Fire and Bitterblue! Love this list – so much fantasy!

I think, even if you were less than enthusiastic about Graceling, as I was, that you might enjoy Fire and Bitterblue more.

I debated reading Bitterblue, because I didn’t like it right away and was terrified Bitterblue would end up marrying Po or something, which for me would be unacceptable (I love Po and Kasta a LOT), but I’ve got it out from the library again and am hoping to give it a better go this time. I loved Fire (Graceling would be my favourite, though) and Catching Fire was my favourite THG book! How neat!
Nemo
I think you should give Bitterblue another chance, but then again I wasn’t the biggest fan of Graceling but Fire is one of my favourite books of all time. Bitterblue’s up there. I really loved it.
