Top Ten Blogging Resolutions We Have For 2016

  1. I resolve to read and review all of CJ Archer’s Freak House books,
  2. and her spin-off series The Ministry of Curiosities.
  3. I resolve to ONLY request to review books I ALREADY KNOW ABOUT AND REALLY WANT and not just ‘oh, that sounds good’!
  4. I worked so hard last year to cut back on all of my review books. This year I resolve to have so few review books on my TBR pile that I can pick and choose my next read off my overflowing bookshelf.
  5. I resolve to finish the several series I have waiting on my Sequels shelf.
  6. I resolve to re-read the Harry Potter series, starting with the beautiful illustrated edition!
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)
  7. I’d love to start my Page (To Screen) to Stage segment, about books that became musicals (via films). This means I need to resolve to read more primary sources. And watch more films. And listen to more musicals. Yay!
  8. I resolve to buy less ‘filler’ books – I want to buy books I really want, not just because they are in the $2 bargain bin. Srsly I have no room for a new bookshelf.
  9. Last year I resolved to be one of the lucky few chosen to take part in a major blog tour for one of my favourite authors in 2016. I’ll be taking part in Maria V Snyder’s Night Study blog tour on 21st January and as a Snyder fangirl I’m pretty stoked to have been included.

  10. I resolve to shake the blog up in 2016 and soon I’ll have an announcement about that!

What about you? What resolutions do you have for 2016? What do you think of my resolutions?

Great resolutions! I really need to focus on catching-up with/finishing quite a few series I have on my TBR pile as well. Good luck with all your goals this year.

  2. Claire

I want to re-read the Harry Potter series started with the illustrated edition, too!

The page (to screen) to stage sounds amazing! I will be reading that once you get it going!

    My TTT.

Congrats on getting to be apart of Maria V. Snyders blog tour!
All of your other goals sound amazing as well. I need to get my tbr arc pile down as well.

I’m pretty excited about it. I always felt like the bigger blog tours ignored me, and I’m so stoked it’s for an author I absolutely worship!

I should probably work on that, too. I find myself buying books I know I don’t even want just because they’re $2. Shameful.

your resolutions are great! just looking at that illustrated harry potter makes me really want to buy it even though i really don’t have the money to get it (oops). congrats on being apart of the blog tour!

Thanks about the blog tour, and the illustrated HP is really gorgeous. I certainly didn’t need it, I already have the adult paperbacks and every one on ebook. OOPS.

I’m also planning on finally rereading Harry Potter^^ I used to reread them all the time but since I started blogging I haven’t reread ANYTHING. O.O That needs to change! And that illustrated edition is gorgeous ♥ I also want to finish series I have started and only request books I’m REALLY into. I wish you all the best with your goals this year and happy 2016!

      I rarely re-read books, but I haven’t read Harry Potter I think since I was a teenager? It desperately needs a re-read.
