Top Ten Couples We Love
Nemo:
Cat and Bones from Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost:
I love how this couple still keep their passion after they get married, and their communication improves.
Clara and Tucker from Unearthly by Cynthia Hand:
I love how Clara is determined to choose her own destiny and pick her own soulmate without anyone else telling her what she can and can’t do.
Yelena and Valek from the Study series by Maria V Snyder:
I love how Valek is totally protective of Yelena, yet still recognises that she’s tough enough to look after herself and that she’s going to do what needs to be done anyway. And I love how Yelena accepts Valek even though he’s done terrible things.
Fire and Brigan from Fire by Kristin Cashore:
I adore how this romance developed, and I love that it’s a reverse Beauty and the Beast – the completely ordinary male slowly falls in love with the ‘beastly’ yet unearthly beautiful female.
Grace and Will from Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater:
I know a lot of people think this relationship is bestiality, but I interpret it differently. I see this couple’s time as wolves and people similar to a long-distance relationship, and I was in a LDR for three years, so I identify pretty strongly with them. I think they’re a sweet, mature couple.
Taneika:
Lady Helen and Lord Carlston from The Dark Days Club, by Alison Goodman:
Okay, so they’re not “officially” a couple yet but they are in my mind! This relationship is slow burning and oh-so sexy. I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN.
Lila and Alex from Hunting Lila, by Sarah Alderson:
Normally the whole “ending up with your childhood crush” thing in YA can be super convenient and kinda annoying, but it just works in this duology. It could just be that I’m in love with Alex and I love Lila so naturally I think their perfect together. But, really… They are.
Harry and Ginny from Harry Potter, by JK Rowling:
I LOVE book Ginny. Book Ginny is perfect for Harry! She’s headstrong, independent and brave and I loved how Harry and Ginny’s relationship evolved throughout the series and grew into something more (ups and downs included!)
Anna and Etienne from Anna and the French Kiss, by Stephanie Perkins
So, cheating is bad and I don’t condone it at all,
however contrary to what many think, I don’t think this book condones cheating either. The topic is explored but Anna and Etienne’s relationship starts off as such a cute, heartwarming friendship before it blossoms into something beautiful. This book was just too cute for me not to love Anna and Etienne as a couple (even if he was a bit douche-baggy in parts)
Simon and Blue from Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, by Becky Albertalli
I’M NOT TELLING YOU WHO BLUE IS. If you’ve read this book, you’ll understand why I think they’re one of the most adorable couples in literature (and if you haven’t read it, what are you doing? Go read it immediately). They’re understanding of each other and it’s one of the sweetest, happiest relationships I’ve ever read <3
PS – Nemo totally stole my favourite couple ever, Clara and Tucker, so I didn’t mention them a second time (although I do love Christian too, I would be happy with either to be perfectly honest).
Kasey @ The Story Sanctuary
I just ordered Anna and the French Kiss – it’s been on my reading list forever. 🙂 Gah! Must read Simon and the Homo Sapiens Agenda now, too!
Emma
I have Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda on my list too! I love Simon and Blue.
Carrie
I love Harry & Ginny! And Ron and Hermione too for that matter 🙂 My TTT

I just recently met Grace and Sam from Shiver but I adore them ♥ A new favorite couple of mine – in fact, Sam made my list this week too 😀 I still need to read The Study Series and the Night Huntress Series though (PS Nemo: I saw you were currently reading Sabriel. OMG!!)
YES to Harry and Ginny!! I adore book Ginny too Taneika and you’re right: she’s perfect for Harry ♥ I also still need to read Dark Days Club but I want to soon. Fantastic selection ladies^^ 😀
Nemo
I’m currently re-reading Sabriel so I can review it. I haven’t ‘met’ Touchstone yet and I can’t really remember how I feel about him.
I’m glad to see Sam made your list, I just thought he was so mature and thoughtful, and like I said, I could really identify with their relationship as I interpreted it.
PS READ THE STUDY SERIES OMG YOU WON’T REGRET IT.
