Teen Wolf Book Tag

Hiya readers! I’m not a big tag-doer but when I find a good one that is about a fandom I love, I love to jump in!

There is a Teen Wolf Book Tag originally created by Unaplopusandante. I’m taking most of the inspiration from her tag but I don’t like some of her questions so I’m changing some, notably Kira and Allison. I’ve also added one question!

Sydney Sage from Bloodlines. Sydney starts out a human working with vampires she’s literally afraid of and has religious and personal persecutions against. Then she gets to know the vampires. Respect them. Like them. Then she falls in love with one. I really love watching her character arc evolving from a very strong standpoint against vampires to turning against her own beliefs and her own family because she’s come to the independent thought that vampires aren’t monsters after all.

Lockwood from Illusionarium by Heather Dixon. He’s abrasive and has a clear rivalry with Jonathon that borders on frenemies, but there’s something about him that’s just so charming. I really like him even though I may be supposed to hate him?

All The Bright Places. For fear of spoiling this even more than I just have, I’ll just leave that here.

Eddie from You Before Anyone Else. His past is so mysterious it’s not revealed until halfway through the book, and it has a huge impact on the rest of the plot.

Laurel from Wings. As insufferable as she is, she’s a teenager before she finds out she’s a faerie and she struggles to catch up on all that faerie knowledge. She continues to learn throughout the series.

Yelena from the Study series by Maria V Snyder. She’s athletic thanks to her gymnastics background, she’s been trained by an assassin, and she has magical skill to fall back on if things get too rough.

Once upon a time I re-read a lot. Then I went to University and did an English degree. Then I read nothing for about 12 months, almost exactly to the day. Then one day, I  picked up Twilight and read it in a couple of days. I finished the series within the week. And so the great non-reading post-graduation slump was banished by a banal love story about a bland every-girl and the shiny vampire that wants to eat her.

Aphrodite from House of Night by PC Cast. I’ve only read the first 6 books and Aphrodite is cast by Zoey ‘Perfect’ Redbird as a skinny, twitching, bitching ho who forced a blowjob on her boyfriend but in reality Aphrodite is the only one who won’t let Zoey get away with all of her shit.

Regina and Conrad from Confessions of an Almost-Girlfriend by Louise Rozett. They’re not main characters.

This one was hard for me, even though I made up the question, because I’m normally the one who goes with the canon OTP. In fact, the only non-canon OTP I actually get behind is Team Jacob!
