Stacking the Shelves (143)

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
It’s all about sharing the books we’ve picked up for the week, whether they are bought, borrowed, gifted, galleys, physical or virtual.
Share your shelves and remember to visit Tynga’s Reviews where it all started to find more great books!

 For Review

In the hopes of shattering this reading slump, I asked Walker Books Australia if I could review this incredible-sounding Pointe, Claw, about two girls and their wildness. I have a particular interest in girls and wildness, as I believe gender is a social construction and in the forced binary of patriarchy wild does not correspond with girl unless of course you are making her exotic or Othered. It’s written by a former ballerina. So this book came in a beautiful hardback and I am going to read it and hopefully it will help me out of this reading slump.
