For Review
In the hopes of shattering this reading slump, I asked Walker Books Australia if I could review this incredible-sounding Pointe, Claw, about two girls and their wildness. I have a particular interest in girls and wildness, as I believe gender is a social construction and in the forced binary of patriarchy wild does not correspond with girl unless of course you are making her exotic or Othered. It’s written by a former ballerina. So this book came in a beautiful hardback and I am going to read it and hopefully it will help me out of this reading slump.

Yay. This one sounds great indeed.

I haven’t heard of this one until now, but that cover is really eye-catching! I’ll have to keep an eye out for it.
