Stacking the Shelves (146)

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
It’s all about sharing the books we’ve picked up for the week, whether they are bought, borrowed, gifted, galleys, physical or virtual.
Share your shelves and remember to visit Tynga’s Reviews where it all started to find more great books!

 For Review

Thanks to Penguin Random House Australia for sending me this beauty, I was really looking forward to reading this because I love Richelle Mead’s writing style and the fact that all three of this trilogy’s books are intertwined and happen at the same time, so it will be interesting to see Adelaide’d adventures from Mira’s point of view.

Purchased

Lauren DeStefano:

  • Burning Kingdoms (Internment Chronicles #2)
  • Broken Crowns (Internment Chronicles #3)
  • A Curious Tale of the In-Between
  • The Peculiar Night of the Blue Heart

I kind of went on a DeStefano buying spree. How she manages to produce so many books so quickly I’ll never know. At least now I have everything except the new one about The Girl with the Ghost Machine: really looking forward to that, even though it’s middle-grade.

Brodi Ashton:

  • Everbound

Just completing my Everneath collection even though I haven’t read any yet.

Breeana Shields:

  • Poison’s Kiss

I feel like I am obsessing over this book without even reading it. I can’t stop thinking about it and wondering if it will be any good or just another fantasy-lite. I’m pretty keen to find out.

Yeah I’ve always meant to get the rest of DeStefano’s books because I just love her writing, but she’s too fast for me so I missed some. I only have limited time and resources! Glad you’re liking Midnight Jewel, I’m looking forward to it!
