Top Ten Book Covers with Australian National Colours

Today is supposed to be a Top Ten Tuesday in honour of 4th of July, which is an American national holiday, showcasing red white and blue on book covers. However, we are also encouraged to share covers with our own country’s colours if we prefer, which I do!

Australia has a few different combinations of colours.

We have our regular Australian flag colours which are blue, white, and red.

We have our Aboriginal flag which is black, red, and yellow:

And we have our sporting colours which are green and gold:

So the book covers I’m showcasing today are chosen with those colour schemes in mind.

Blue, White and Red:

Dread Nation

Tell the Wind and Fire

Lirael (The Old Kingdom, #2)

Black, red, and yellow:

Sinner (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #4)

Delete (Shift, #3)

Playing With Fire (The 1st Freak House Trilogy, #2)

Green and gold:

Quintana of Charyn (Lumatere Chronicles, #3)

Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1)
