This is the 180th time I’ve done Stacking the Shelves, and boy do I have a doozy for you this week!

A few weeks ago someone who shall remain nameless for the sake of privacy approached me and told me I absolutely had to reach out to my publisher contacts for a copy of Samantha Shannon’s The Priory of the Orange Tree because they thought I would just love it. Unfortunately I wasn’t at that time able to find a way to request a copy, so this person lent me their paperback ARC.

And Oh. My. Gosh. It is ENORMOUS. It’s 800 pages.

I’ve put a copy of it next to a regular 300 page book to show the size difference.

It sounds so awesome but I’m SO intimidated to read it.
