Top Ten Books I Enjoyed That Are Outside of My Comfort Zone

i.e., a genre you don’t typically read or subject matter you’re not usually drawn to

The genre I have picked this week is YA Thriller.

I’ve never been drawn to YA thrillers before, but I do like contemporary YA novels, and I’m starting to find a new love for the thriller subgenre. My usual go-to is YA fantasy, but over the lat year or so I’ve started being drawn to YA Contemporary, so I’m starting to read more widely into YA thrillers, and it’s a big difference to what I usually love! Here are ten YA thrillers I’ve read at the Moonlight Library with links to their reviews:

  1. The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas
  2. Little Monsters by Kara Tomas
  3. Sawkill Girls by Claire LeGrand
  4. Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls by  Lynn Weingarten
  5. Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson
  6. In Her Skin by Kim Savage
  7. Frayed by Kara Terzis
  8. Panic by Lauren Oliver
  9. Get Even by Gretchen McNeil
  10. Fury by Shirley Marr

I’m looking for recommendations! Can you recommend a YA Thriller for me?
