Top Ten Character Traits I Love

Because I like different traits based on gender, I’m splitting my character traits into 5 for women and 5 for men:
In female characters, I like the following characters traits:
- Tough (physically/mentally/emotionally)
- Smart
- Compassionate
- Cooperative
- Brave (but not stupid or reckless)
Most of my favourite female characters embrace most, if not all of, these traits.
In male characters, I like the following characteristics:
- Loyal
- Considerate
- Sensitive
- Smart
- Supportive (specifically in reference to males being comfortable supporting a female leader)
I think you’ll find most of my book boyfriends have most of, if not all of these traits.
