Top Ten Books That Give off an Autumn Vibe

Save

Even though I’m in Australia and we’re firmly in Springtime now, I’m still doing this ‘Autumn’ themed cover list.

Boundless (Unearthly #3) by Cynthia Hand

The Australian cover of Boundless is just so insanely gorgeous and autumnal, like how can you look at that and NOT think ‘Hey, it’s autumn!”

An Enchantment of Ravens

An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson

Just look at this gorgeous golden toned cover, complete with actual raven.

Abhorsen (Old Kingdom #3) by Garth Nix

The colour scheme is just so vivid with the reds and oranges.

With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo

Just look at these gorgeous plum shades and that amazing shade of brown skin on our mixed-race heroine.

Sinner (Wolves of Mercy Falls #4) by Maggie Stiefvater

This colour evokes the yellows and oranges found in autumn, even though it’s set during summer.

Terrier (Beka Cooper, #1)

Beka Cooper: Terrier by Tamora Pierce

So. Much. Gold.

Pointe, Claw by Amber J Keyser

Another gorgeous colour scheme using autumn colours of yellow and brown.

The Hundredth Queen by Emily R King

You could probably argue this is a more summery-looking novel, but I love the deep red tones and the flashes of gold. it reminds me of the lipstick colours I start using in Autumn.

This Shattered World (Starbound #2) by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

Even though this is a space background, the use of jewel tones and bright orange makes me think of autumn.

Damsel by Elena K Arnold

I’m sticking this one in last as I think it’s quite spring-like with the flowers and birds, but the tones used are quite Autumn, so this is my way of sneaking in Southern Hemisphere Spring cover in an Autumn list!
