Top Ten Twelve Books I Read in 2019

I read 54 books in 2019,  but before we get to my favourites, I want to list some stats:

  • Audiobooks: 26
  • Ebooks: 19
  • Physical books: 9
  • ARC or review copy: 16
  • Library borrows: 32
  • Own copies: 6
  • Rereads: 1
  • Abandoned (DNF): 5
  • Books I bought after I read: 3

Audiobooks literally saved me this year, and allowed me to post at least 1 new review a week. I have a full time job and other time-intensive hobbies, so being able to listen to audiobooks on my commute to work really helped me listen to some amazing books this year.

I also discovered a love of YA thrillers!

And now, here are ten twelve (because I couldn’t narrow it down!) of my absolute favourite reads for 2019:

Angel Mage by Garth Nix

The Rift by Rachael Craw
