In October I got sick and had to go to hospital again. Here’s a look back at the books I wanted to feature for Can’t Wait For in October 2020:

This isn’t YA, but I still really want to read a romantic comedy about a plus-size woman and the hot celebrity she dates: having them connect over a mutual fandom just sounds adorabubble.

Why I Can’t Wait for this book:
I’m drawn to this because of the comparison to Three Dark Crowns, plus the ‘dark, queer’ part. I’m also a big fan of elemental magic, so I immediately like the concept of an entire city relying on one being to provide water. And of course, I love ambitious heroines, and this one is willing to marry for power. The journey to save her city sounds like fun.

Magically safe kingdom now unsafe from cursed wood, plus a spunky heroine and a foxy companion? I immediately added this to my TBR.
I am actually reading this right now and LOVING IT SO HARD.

Ah yes, karma coming to bite someone in the ass! It’s a satisfying thought. I just love the idea of some random girl being granted this power. How many of your have wished for the same thing, or at least for karma to hurry up and get revenge on that person who was horrible to you?
