Day 26: A book that changed your opinion about something

Confessions of an Angry Girl (Confessions, #1)I, too, have a confession to make.

I don’t care who hates me for it.

I used to be completely 100% anti-war.

I believed war was good for absolutely nothing and that everyone should just lay down their arms.

I wouldn’t support the troops because the troops supported the war.

Until I read this book, and found out that there’s so much more to what army soldiers do than just kill innocent people.

They totally help rebuild villages and bridges and help out suffering people.

And not everyone in the army is a soldier. They’re good guys just trying to do the right thing often caught in a deadly war zone. They risk their lives to make other peoples’ lives better.

I still don’t support the war.

But at least now I totally support the troops.
