 Coastal

Today I’m talking about a YA book series that is set on the coast of Australia!

Submerged Sun series

Recently, Vanessa Garden released a fourth book in this series, a prequel that looks at what happened in Marin before Miranda rocked up, before Marko took the crown, before the evil that is his brother started experimenting on young women. It’s about Marko’s grandfather and his young wife, and can be read as a stand alone.

This series is set on the west coast of Australia, largely in a mysterious and beautiful glittering underwater world. It’s well worth the read for the atmosphere alone, let alone the beautiful blossoming relationship between Miranda and Marko.

Garden started off with the first two books published by Harlequin Australia and the first book, Captivate, was actually the first blog tour I ever took part in. I’m only a little bit miffed that I have the first two Harlequin covers instead of the gorgeous self-published ones. You can read my ARC review of Captivate here, and my review of Impulse here. Garden also answered a Q&A when Impulse was released, and you can read that here.
