Midnight Sun (Twilight, #5)

Midnight Sun (Twilight #5) by Stephenie Meyer

When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella’s side of the story. At last, readers can experience Edward’s version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun.

This unforgettable tale as told through Edward’s eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire. As we learn more fascinating details about Edward’s past and the complexity of his inner thoughts, we understand why this is the defining struggle of his life. How can he justify following his heart if it means leading Bella into danger?

I don’t care about how everyone thinks it’s cool to hate on Twilight. I acknowledge that some of it is problematic, but Meyer herself has never been. I’m glad she finished this book, even after that piece of trash who used her IP and did it first and Meyer never did anything to fight it even though she had every right to. Good on her for continuing through life with grace and graciousness. Also, Twilight will forever be connected to my University life since it’s the first series I read after burning out after a literature review, and since I’m back at University, it seems fitting.

The Princess Will Save You (The Princess Will Save You, #1)

The Princess Will Save You by Sarah Henning

When a princess’s commoner true love is kidnapped to coerce her into a political marriage, she doesn’t give in—she goes to rescue him.

When her warrior father, King Sendoa, mysteriously dies, Princess Amarande of Ardenia is given what would hardly be considered a choice: Marry a stranger at sixteen or lose control of her family’s crown.

But Amarande was raised to be a warrior—not a sacrifice.

In an attempt to force her choice, a neighboring kingdom kidnaps her true love, stable boy Luca. With her kingdom on the brink of civil war and no one to trust, she’ll need all her skill to save him, her future, and her kingdom.

The Princess Will Save You is a YA fantasy adventure inspired by The Princess Bride, in which a princess must rescue her stable boy true love, from the acclaimed author of Sea Witch, Sarah Henning.

Yay, warrior princesses!

That is all.

You Were Made For Me

You Were Made for Me by Jenna Guillaume

The day I created a boy started out like any other.

Katie didn’t mean to create a boy. A boy like a long-lost Hemsworth brother: six-foot tall with floppy hair and eyes like the sky on a clear summer’s day; whose lips taste like cookie-dough and whose skin smells like springtime.

A boy who is completely devoted to Katie.

He was meant to be perfect.

But he was never meant to exist.

I didn’t know how much I needed this book until I read the blurb. Honestly it sounds so perfect for a teen audience, I just can’t wait to dive into this!
