This week I’m eagerly waiting on:

Uninvited (Uninvited, #1)

Uninvited by Sophie Jordan

Expected publication:  28th January 2014

Publisher: HarperTeen

From Goodreads:

The Scarlet Letter meets Minority Report in bestselling author Sophie Jordan’s chilling new novel about a teenage girl who is ostracized when her genetic test proves she’s destined to become a murderer.

When Davy Hamilton’s tests come back positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome (HTS)-aka the kill gene-she loses everything. Her boyfriend ditches her, her parents are scared of her, and she can forget about her bright future at Juilliard. Davy doesn’t feel any different, but genes don’t lie. One day she will kill someone.

Only Sean, a fellow HTS carrier, can relate to her new life. Davy wants to trust him; maybe he’s not as dangerous as he seems. Or maybe Davy is just as deadly.

I was lucky and already had the chance to read this-I think if you like Jordan’s writing (as in her Firelight trilogy), you’ll probably like this too. Hope you can pick a copy up next week when it releases!

I haven’t read her Firelight trilogy, in fact I heard a lot of bad things about it so I doubt I will read it at all, but I guess we’ll see when I get my hands on this baby!

I’ve heard interesting things about this book. Some people really love it and others were disappointed. I’m going to wait to see what you think before I read it.

I haven’t read any reviews yet because I don’t want spoilers, even though it’s pretty obvious how the story is going to unfold.
