I agree with many of these, particularly the dislike for bad photoshop and white hetero couples making out (thinking of Nicholas Sparks covers). I adore covers which display a symbol of their romance instead the act of it.

Bad photoshop is a great choice. I’ve seen it around a lot recently.

Wow the photoshop on Saved by the Rancher is truly dreadful!

I love the bad photoshop! I haven’t seen too many of those covers around recently. I guess that’s a good thing. 😉 Great picks!

Some great choices. I love the Cruel Beauty cover and any cover that is purple! I agree with you about the body parts one, it’s really creepy! That photoshop one is awful! I haven’t seen any like that before, thank god because it really is bad!!!

Yes, I love cool fonts and pretty dresses. But I hate seeing white hetero couples making out on book covers (actually I’m sick of even reading about white hetero couples) and bad photoshop jobs. I don’t like metaphors on covers though, as I feel they make it cheesy.

Gravity defying covers are definitely some of the most striking to look at (and often gravitate towards) But man, that photoshopping in that Saved by the Rancher. I died a bit.
