This week’s topic:

Procrastination: does it rule your life? Or are you more of the prepared/scheduled type?

I’m a mixture of both. I have a get-up-and-go attitude coupled with laziness and a hefty dose of intelligence that lends the ability to be able to wing things. At times. Take this blog for example: I won’t procrastinate on it. Most of my posts are scheduled ahead of time, and I even have a calendar to help me get organised. But housework? Or parts of my job I hate doing? I will procrastinate because I don’t want to do it. It’s not a matter of getting distracted: I look for distractions because I hate doing anything unpleasant. Life is meant to be enjoyed, you know? Why do stuff you don’t want to do?

If I’m getting paid, I will do it once everything else is sorted. My procrastination at work only extends until I’ve exhausted all my other jobs and I have nothing left to do LOL. Or something worse to do that I want to put off! I’m very organised and prioritise all the time, so everything gets done. I hate stressing about things, too. Like I said, I like to enjoy life! So if something is stressing me out, I’ll either put it off until I have to face it, or get it over and done with.

What about you? Are you a procrastinator as well, or are you prepared?
