How many books do you read at once?
Some people can only read one book at one time.
I get that. Sometimes carrying several stories in your head can be confusing, and you want to concentrate on one thing at one time. I totally appreciate that. Some people read faster and better if they read one book at a time.
Me?
I AM readING at least 3 books at all times.
- I will read an ARC (Advanced Review Copy) on my Kindle.
- I always have a physical book on my bedside table.
- I always have an audiobook on the go loaded on my phone.
Sometimes I will read more than one physical book at a time. Especially if it’s something like a coffee table book, or a children’s book, or something I am reading out in my living room or library room rather than in my bedroom.
I will also sometimes have a physical library book which will move around the house depending on where I am reading. Most of the time, though, I borrow my library books as ebooks through the Libby app and load them on my phone. This will generally only be if I am super excited to read it, it’s in high demand, and my hold has finally come in.
And when I finish one book, I have enough in my ARC pile, my Kindle, in my library room, and on my library wishlist that I will pick another one up straight away and add it into my rotation.
So there you go! I will often read 3-5 books at any one time.
What about you? how many books do you read at once, and how do you read them? Let me know in the comments below!

It’s two for me usually! One physical copy (occasionally an e-book, but not often) and one audiobook because I do a lot of driving for work. Although there is a book of poetry with a bookmark in it on my bedside table as well – but I don’t think I’ve opened it in a year!

My bedside table physical copy is a book of short stories I also have been neglecting for a long time, so you’re not alone! 😛
