Buy Borrow Burn (4)

Buy-Borrow-Burn

Welcome to the Moonlight Library’s new original feature, Buy Borrow Burn.
It’s a fun game based on Snog Marry Avoid/Marry Kiss Kill.
If we had unlimited funds, which cover would be the one we’d buy*, borrow, or burn**?
*This is completely subjective and my favourite cover may not be yours.
**In no way do we wish to insult anyone and no, we wouldn’t actually ‘burn’ the book, this is completely hypothetical.

Let me know which book cover you’d Buy Borrow or Burn!

This week’s book covers:

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
by JK Rowling

Buy

818068

Bloomsbury ‘Adult’ edition

I really do love the adult covers, and I love the classy simplicity of the goblet – that blue fire sure is intriguing!

Borrow

17347382

Scholastic 15th Anniversary Edition

I love it, I love the dragon and the arena and the egg and the diversity in the crowd. It’s perfect for a children’s collection, and I wouldn’t be ashamed at all if people saw me reading this in public. It’s just not quite got the understated classiness of the edition I’d prefer to buy.

Burn

662855

German edition

First of all, there’s two Harry Potters on the cover, which strains my brain. It looks like foreground Harry is taking a selfie. Also, they can’t get Rowling’s author name correct and call her Joanne (YES I KNOW IT IS HER REAL NAME BUT SHE IS JK TO ALL OF US OK?)

Which out of these three covers would you buy, borrow, or burn?
